Follow these instructions to automatically hyperlink any URLs not already active in your Word document:

  1. Open a Word document.
  2. Then click “File”.
  3. Choose “Options” next to open up the “Word Options” window.
  4. Click “Quick Access Toolbar” on the left side.
  5. Choose “All Commands” on the drop-list of “Choose commands from”.
  6. Now, select “AutoFormat…” option.
  7. Go to click “Add” button.
  8. Click “OK” to save the change

  

 

 

 

  1. Click the “AutoFormat” command located on the “Quick Access Toolbar”.

  1. Verify "AutoFormat now" and "General Document" are selected and click "OK". 

All of the URLs should now be hyperlinked and formatted as clickable links:
