In-Person:

The Research Medical Library is open to the public. Anyone is welcome to visit and utilize the databases, journal subscriptions (including full text of articles), and eBooks during our open hours (Monday-Friday 7:30 am – 6:00 pm).

Those members of the public who bring in a TexShare card from their home library institution may borrow a limited number of books from us.

Online:

MD Anderson Faculty, Staff, Fellows, Residents and Students have off campus access privileges to the library's online resources. There are two way to access the library remotely.

1) Login through the Institutional VPN. Instructions from Inside here.

2) Go to the library's homepage and select the Off Campus Login button. Login with your My ID. This is the same username and password you use to access your MD Anderson e-mail. Library users should also try BrowZine Web which offers an alternative method for reading academic journals online.

Tablets or Smartphones:

MD Anderson Faculty, Staff, Fellows, Residents and Students can access the library on their smartphones or tablets by downloading the Browzine app for iOS Tablets and smartphones or Android tablets. The library also offers UpToDate, e-Anatomy, and LexiComp mobile. Learn about these apps and more here.
