BrowZine allows users to gain access to current journals through Research Medical Library subscriptions. You can read online and/or via the BrowZine app.

BrowZine has pre-populated subjects to choose from, or you can enter a keyword, subject, or journal title in the search bar.  For example, under the subject “Biomedical and Health Sciences,” you will find the subcategory of “Oncology.”

Sign in to BrowZine for Bonus Features

If you login or sign up for an account, you will get the added “My Bookshelf” and “My articles” features on the top of the homepage. Plus, your account will sync between the web version and the app version.

“My bookshelf” allows you to create your own shelving system. When you find a journal that you want to add, just click the “add to my bookshelf” button underneath the journal title and cover on the lefthand side. Organizing journals to shelves makes them easy find.

“My articles” allows you create collections and save articles in to read later. The articles can be from a variety of journals. There is a “general collection” automatically set up when you open an account. You can also create new collections and rename them. When you find an article that you want to add to any collection:

  1. Click the folder button, underneath the citation
  2. Choose a collection.
  3. When you click on “my articles,” this article will appear in the designated collection

New/ Special Features - Cabell’s Integration for Retracted Articles

BrowZine has a new integration that notifies you if an article has been retracted with bold red lettering above the article title. If you click on the article, it will provide you with a retraction summary, giving you the option to link to the official retraction notice from the journal’s website. This feature is available on both the web version and the app.
