Any time you do a search in PubMed, you can click on the "Create alert" link underneath the search box to save your search strategy and to set up e-mail alerts.  This will take you to the MyNCBI login page, where you can either log in or quickly register to set up your free account.  (Read instructions on creating or logging into PubMed accounts)

Once you are logged in, you will be re-directed to your "save search" page where you can name the search and choose options to set up e-mail alerts.  You may wish to change the report format to "Abstract" using the pull-down menu, so that your e-mail alerts contain both the citation and the article abstract.  You can also choose the frequency of e-mail alerts, and the maximum number of results delivered per alert.
