Yes, MD Anderson's BioRender access includes publishing rights to publish images in journals and for other academic purposes with proper citation. There is no additional fee.

How to cite your BioRender figure

An image will either be cited as an original image created with BioRender or cited as being derived from a BioRender template: https://help.biorender.com/hc/en-gb/articles/17605511350685-Citing-BioRender

Images may be published on web sites with proper attribution if it is not being sold or used to generate profit in some way, and it is not being used for marketing or publishing purposes.

How to download a publication license for closed-access resources

In some cases, a publication may ask for a license for a BioRender image to prove permission is granted. Learn how to download a license here: https://help.biorender.com/hc/en-gb/articles/21282829427229-Publishing-in-closed-access-resources

Depending on your publication type (open-access vs. subscription-based), different licenses may apply. If you're unsure about your publication type, ask the library at RML-Help@mdanderson.org.
