Third-party submitters (i.e., Designee) can deposit manuscript files into the NIHMS system, but they must designate an author or PI to serve as the Reviewer for the files. The Reviewer is responsible for providing initial and final approval of files during the submission process. While a third-party can start the process, it cannot be completed without active participation from a designated author or PI.
